On June 6th, I Liq Chuan students, Wai Tang, Nancy Fiano, Justin, and Hsin Chin competes in the 2nd annual US Martial Arts Championship (scroll down for video clips). Hundreds of Martial Arts competitors and spectators attended the event at Queens College, New York. Master Sam Chin was invited to be a judge and to give a Master Demonstration.
Master Sam Chin's youngest son - Hsin Chin, competed in 3 events where he received 4 Gold medals - Sparring, Moving Push Hands, and Stationary Push Hands. In one of the event he received 2 Gold medals as his opponent forfeited, and Hsin requested to compete in the adults class. Hsin also competed in adult classes in all the other categories to avoid fighting with ILC schoolmate - Justin.
Wai Tang competed in Form where he placed 2nd, and 3rd in Stationary Push Hands. (clips to be posted soon, please check back later)
Wai Tang's 16 years old nephew - Justin, had only learn I Liq Chuan for 3 months competed in Stationary Push Hands & Moving Push Hands. He earned a Gold medal in Moving Push Hands, and Silver medal in Stationary Push Hands.
Nancy Fiano competed in various forms where she received 2 Gold medals and a Bronze medal.
Overall, it was a successful outcome for I Liq Chuan, congratulations to all that competed.
