Mariusz Sroczyński started to train Taiji and Qigong in 1988, and martial arts even earlier. When he was 15, he started to train Karate Kyokushin and Aikido. He practiced Taiji in different schools and organizations. In 1993 he met the Yang's Martial Arts Association. Since then he has dedicated to the Taiji training in that organization. In the beginning of 2002 the School became an official YMAA branch in Warsaw.
I-LIQ CHUAN. It was in 2000 when we heard for the first time about Master Sam Chin and I-Liq Chuan System. Since then we have been following news in internet, we have been in contact with Master and attempting to invite him to Poland.
In January 2008 was the first Master's visit to Poland. He was invited by Piotr Ziemba to his Tai Chi Chuan School in Poznań for a 3-day workshop. It was the first time for Mariusz Sroczynski to meet Master Sam Chin.
In autumn 2008 Master went to Warsaw. Since that time we have been cooperating with Master Sam Chin and I-Liq Chuan Association. In spring 2009 Mariusz Sroczynski (School Director and Teacher) passed the exams for the 3-rd level and was allowed by Master Sam Chin to organize and lead I-Liq Chuan trainings in Warsaw. In 2008 and 2009 Master visited Warsaw few times. His every visit lasted about one week and focused also on individual trainings for instructors to prepare them to teaching Polish I-Liq Chuan students. In autumn 2010 Mariusz Sroczynski passed the exams for the 4-rd student level and 1-rd instructor level.
Now in Warsaw there are many students interested in I-Liq Chuan system. There are 20-30 people training regularly at our School. The main teacher is Mariusz Sroczynski, with helping him Wlodek Hrymniak (IV-nd student level and I instructor level in I-Liq Chuan). Our School is cooperating with Master Sam Chin – we invite Master for seminars to Warsaw (next is going to take place in October 2010) and we participate in his seminars all over Europe. We are cooperating with the School of Piotr Ziemba in Poznan, Poland (www.taichi.com.pl) and with the School of Miro Kovacik in Vienna, Austria (www.ilc-austria.com).
Regular trainings: every Monday at 8.20 p.m., 1,5h; every Friday at 7.30 p.m., 2h; School address: Warsaw, Krasnolecka 3
