On the DVD I've been working with Sifu said feet should be sholder with apart in the stance.
How far length wise do you keep the feet?

I've been training roughly shoulder width apart (or just outside shoulder width) both width- and length-wise.

Recently we've been spinning etc. with the feet shoulder width apart and only one foot slightly forward. This helps to see if you're using your stance to 'brace' pushes/pulls instead of absorbing down through the body. If used as a fighting stance then the groin is exposed and so your sensitivity needs to be a1, to avoid kicks and pain:shok:
