Is it correct to relax everything down to the ground then push from the feet to the center or does the top relax down and the feet push up meeting at the Tan Tien(sp?).
Does this even make sense?

Re: Question
Sounds like its a whole swirling energy conundrum.
I'll keep working on it with that in mind. I think that answers the question for now.
Thanks!

in a sense, both.
ILC concept of 2 to 1, so everything lines up from the point of contact down to the center of the feet. you have the front and the back but then you can refine even more down to top and bottom and yin/yang in each leg, etc.
at this point i like to tell peopl to feel as if they're pushing the floor away from the ming men, or to pull the floor up to the dan tien. i think it helps to activate the sense of absorb and project in the lower half more acutely. (of course you still have to maintain absorb from the front and porject from the back in the upper half as well)
so you have the sense of projecting from the ming men up to the crown and projecting from the ming men to the big toe via the feeling of "pushing the ground away".
¿que bueno?
