Attention everyone!

Training camp for I Liq Chuan in 2010 will be a historic event.  For the very first time, it will be an International Summer Camp with Master Sam F.S. Chin!

• Venue: In the "Zvenigorod" Country House, on the hills of Dnepr, Ukraine, 70 km from Kiev. A one-night trip from Moscow to Kiev, by train.Only the members of the I Liq Chuan retreat will be present on camp grounds.

• Dates: August 16 - 29th, 2010. Participants are not required to attend the full duration of camp. Prorated pricing will be available.

o   Date of arrival: August 15th (registered transfer from Kiev for an additional fee - leaving in the morning before 12:00, or make your own travel arrangements)

o   Date of Departure: August 29th (at lunch, about 14:00 registered transfer from the estate to Kiev for an extra fee or make your own travel arrangements)

• Reservations for participation have already been accepted in advance at 10,000 rubles / $350 USD. Refund will be granted with cancellation fee for cancellation before July 15th, 2010.  Payment will be nonrefundable after July 25th, 2010.

Residence Conditions

• Small country houses on the hills of Dnepr (62-65 spaces)

• Tent camping (Unlimited spaces)     

Placing will be determined by the event organizers based on the number of males and females; unless all parties agree to a co-ed living arrangement.  If you would like to stay for less than the full term and prefer to stay in a country house your request for accommodations will be considered, but in the event that we are overbooked priority will be given to the applicants requesting full term stay.   Requests for indoor accommodations for a few days only will be considered depending on available space.  If you come with your own tent you may arrive and stay at your own convenience.  Friends and family of I Liq Chuan participants can bring their own tents and stay on the camping grounds OR stay indoors, depending on available space; you can find out about housing availability between the 1st and 15th of July.

Country Houses: Houses are heated, have electricity, several rooms are air-conditioned, sheets and towels will be provided and changed once a week, bathroom facilities will be in a suite or elsewhere on the premises. Hot water round the clock, each house is equipped with own boiler. Windows furnished with mosquito grids. Placement will vary: Most rooms can house three or four persons; there are two rooms that can fit 8 and 12 persons. There are a total of 62-65 spaces. Specify whether you need double or single beds and we will try to accommodate your requests. Children up to 5 years old may be able to stay for free.

Tent Camping:  Arrive with your own tents, sleeping bags and all necessary equipment for living in the woods. Food will be distributed in the cafeteria. There will likely be an outdoor shower, however, you may bathe in Dnepr River, or visit a Russian Steam Room with additional payment. There is no electricity on the grounds; however, you will have turn access to a socket in a street arbour. Heaters are not provided.

Cost (residence + food + training)

• For Iliqchuan instructors there is a 10% discount from the standard cost to student members in good standing (passport must show current payment).

• Attention: in Ukraine all monetary transactions are made in Grivnas.

• The exchange rate at time of payment, 1 dollar = 8 grivnas, 1 dollar = 29 roubles.

1.   Country house accommodations (from 5 to 14 days, staying for fewer days may be possible depending on availability of space):

• For I Liq Chuan students (members of ILC Association, the current year dues must be paid and marked in the ILC passport)

o   For two weeks 22 400 rbl. = $773 = 8184 grn (1600 rbl/day = $55 / day= 440 grn/day)

o   For stay from one to four days – 2050 rbl/day= $71/day= 568 grn/day

o   For one week 11 550 rbl. = $398=3184 grn or (1650 rbl/day= $57/ day= 456 grn/day, the price is valid for stay from five to eleven days)

• For all other participants

o   For two weeks 26 600 rbl. = $917= 7336 grn. (1900 rbl/day = $66/day=528grn/day)

o   For one week 13 650 rbl. = $471=3768 grn. (1950 rbl/day= $67/day=536grn/day, the price is valid for stay from five to eleven days)

o   For stay from one to four days – 2500 rbl/days = $86/day=688grn/day

2.   Tent camping  (one day to two weeks):

• For I Liq Chuan students (members of ILC Association, the current year dues must be paid and marked in the ILC passport)

o   For two weeks 18 900 rbl. = $652=5216grn. (1350 rbl./day = $47/day=376grn/day)

o   For one week 10 150 rbl. = $350=2800grn. (1450rub/day=50$/day=400grn/day, the price is valid for stay from five to eleven days)

o   For stay from one to four days – 1800 rbl/day = $62/day=496grn/day

• For all other participants

o   For two weeks 23 100 rbl. = $797=6376grn. (1650 rbl./day = $57=456grn.)

o   For one week 11 900 rbl. = $410=3280grn (1700 rbl/day = $59/day=427grn, the price is valid for stay from five to eleven days)

o   For stay from one to four days – 2100 rbl/day = $72/day=576grn/day.

Electricity: sockets in each house (in rooms). All houses are heated. If you are staying in the tents, it your responsibility to take care of additional insulation of tents and sleeping bags in case of a cold weather.

Food: three times a day, local, Ukrainian students have evaluated the food as "very tasty". Vegetables are from the kitchen garden of country house. Food is provided to all participants irrespective of residence location (indoor or tents). For children up to 5 years old may request halved portions.

Drink: well water. It flows directly from faucets, it is drinkable. There are documents on suitability of drinking water.

Refrigerators: in houses is not present, but there will be 1 refrigerator in a street arbour for storage of personal medicines etc.

Swimming: the river Dnepr.

Shops: are in nearby village, the management of the country house also can bring products at your request. Every day the manager goes to Kiev on business affairs and returns in the evening.

Phones: all providers, but quality of connection varies.

Parking: it is on the territory of the country house. The territory is under security.  If there are too many vehicles additional space will be provided.

In addition: Excellent fishing (bring your own fishing tackles, administration can rent fishing poles). Russian steam room is available upon request at a cost of approximately $5-$6 per person.  There are grills for shish kebabs, you need to bring your own coals, firewood can be purchased from the administration for 75 rbl per bundle. There is a gazebo. Possibility of horse back riding – about 300 rbl./hour.

1. The list of recommended and must-have items for allparticipants

Each participant at any level must have:

Sleeping pad or sleeping bag, or a picnic chair - somethingto sit on during the meditations

Any steroid ointment

Mosquito, bugs repellent for indoors and outdoors

Hand sanitizer (for partner training)

Skin moisturizer

Anti-gas, anti-bloating charcoal - at least 10 boxes

Band-aid, anticeptic

Adhesive band-aid in rolls

Hydrogen peroxide

Iodine

Gauze pads, or rolls

Cold medication (Theraflu, Nyquil, or the likes)

Students should have Iliqchuan passbooks and sashes.

The
training program is subject to change in the process,student may want
to take cap, knee-pads, shin-guards, foot-guards, boxergloves.

Any ointment to relieve the appearance of  bruises, contusions, puffiness due to traumato soft tissue (troxevazin, indovazin - are the Russian equivalents)

We recommend that all participants have:

Flashlight

Notebook

Warm sweatshirt (hoody)

Baseball cap, bandana

Tin cup

Sunscreen

Electric kettle (rooms are equipped with electric outlets,220 V!)

Electric extension cord/bus

2.Participants can order Iliqchuan books, videos, andIliqchuan outfits.  Orders will bedelivered to the camp.  Please orderbefore August 10 via email: info@iliqchuan.ru, by adding “camp order” to the subject line, specifythe name of the product, color, size and quantity.

3.Payment.

Participants, residing in Moscow and Moscow region, shouldpay in full by August 10.  Participantsresiding elsewhere should pay the balance for the camp on site, on the day ofthe arrival.

4. Medical insurance

It is recommended that all participants obtain a medicalinsurance covering sports activities for the duration of the camp.

5. Grading.

Planned dates for the grading is August 26-27

Participants, planning to take a test, please submit anapplication in advance.  Membership feesshould be current at the time of the grading (can be paid in the camp)

grading process: please apply for the Iliqchuanmembership, if have not
done so yet, by filling out the membership form andsubmitting the fees,
fill out an application for grading, submit 2 colorpictures (passport
size), grading fee is $50 for adult, and $30 for youth.  If
applying for any level beyond the first,fill out an application for
grading, submit 1 picture, bring in your Iliqchuanpassbook.  Grading dress code: IliqchuanT-shirt, Iliqchuan black silk pants, sash, all neatly ironed.
